Sashiko Placemats

Sashiko stitching is simple, meditative, and satifying. Each of these designs contains one placemat, ready to stitch.

The stitching lines show you where your running stitches should be sewn. They are clearly marked on the fabric and will wash out after you have completed the stitching.

Besides turning this into an utilitarian placemat, you can also sew it into a bag, cushion cover or even table cloths or place mats.

You will need a sashiko or embroidery needle, and sashiko or embroidery thread to complete this project.
