Crochet: Granny Square

Join our magical unicorn staff member, Amy Stagner, to learn how to make the ever versatile and always fabulous granny square! Granny squares aren't just for scratchy blankets anymore. Use them to make garland, plant holders, jewelry, and clothing embellishments! Once you learn how, the possibilities are endless. While knowing the basics of crochet is encouraged, beginners are absolutely welcome! Grab a drink next door at Mordecai Bev Co and join us in the party room for this special Friday night class. We think learning how to make a granny square is an excellent way to leave the work week behind.

This class is offered to ages 14+. Some knowledge of crochet is definitely beneficial but not a deal breaker!

Supplies Provided:

• Crochet hooks are provided for in class use only. We can help you shop after the class if want to keep crocheting!

Supplies Needed:

• Please arrive early to pick out your colors of choice from our line of little Milk Yarn skeins in at least 2-5 colors (single skeins are not sold online) OR you can purchase one of our special curated collections of color ways and we'll hold it for you until class!

Class Policies & COVID procedures:

This class requires a minimum of 6 students enrolled, with a maximum of 6. Craft Habit will notify students at least 24 hours in advance if a class is cancelled due to low enrollment. Students will be fully refunded for any classes cancelled due to low enrollment.

Food and most beverages are not allowed during classes, due to safety concerns. You are welcome to bring water in a container that will not spill if knocked over. 

Class registrations are not refundable. If you cannot attend, you may find another person to take your place in a class. Please let us know their name in advance of the class starting.

Classes cancelled by Craft Habit WILL be refunded. We will do our best to reschedule classes, and we will refund class registration fees for any classes that we have to cancel for any reason.

To respect our teachers’ time, please arrive 5 minutes before scheduled class time unless advised otherwise. Late arrivals may miss important information and may not be able to catch up to the class. We cannot issue refunds for late arrivals. Please shop for your class materials in advance!
