Stained Glass Soldering Workshop - Flower - Ages 14+

Join local artist, Susan Reynolds, for this special workshop where you will learn how to foil glass, how to operate a soldering iron and rheostat, and how to apply patina and polish on precut flower shaped petals. You'll leave this workshop with a lovely suncatcher or wall art!

Flux and patina can be quite icky so please bring a mask (N95 preferred) and don't forget your glasses/readers should you need assistance with the fine details.

This class is open to students age 14+

Supplies provided:

• Glass petals & wire
• All soldering tools
• Gloves, safety goggles

Class Policies & COVID procedures:

• Masks are no longer required but always welcome! We are happy to provide a mask if needed. If you are feeling ill, please stay home and text the store to let them know. 

• This class requires a minimum of 6 students enrolled with a maximum of 10. Craft Habit will notify students at least 24 hours in advance if a class is canceled due to low enrollment. Students will be fully refunded for any classes canceled due to low enrollment.

• Food and most beverages are not allowed during classes, due to safety concerns. You are welcome to bring water in a container that will not spill if knocked over. On occasion, BYOB is welcome and will be stated in the class registration page.

• Class registrations are not refundable. If you cannot attend, you may find another person to take your place in a class. Please let us know their name in advance of the class starting.

• Classes canceled by Craft Habit WILL be refunded. We will do our best to reschedule classes, and we will refund class registration fees for any classes that we have to cancel for any reason.

• To respect our teachers’ time, please arrive 5 minutes before scheduled class time unless advised otherwise. Late arrivals may miss important information and may not be able to catch up to the class. We cannot issue refunds for late arrivals. Please shop for your class materials in advance!

• Photography: We love to get pics and videos of our instructors and students in class and especially love to capture your projects when finished so that we can brag about you on our social media accounts! If you do not want to be filmed, just tell the staffer who pops in to take pics. We understand!
