Learn-to-Sew Club (for adults!) - Intro for Absolute Beginners

This new class is for absolute beginners in the machine sewing world and those that do not own their own machines (yet). In this quick 90 minute lesson, you'll learn to set up & thread the machine, change the needle, wind a bobbin, stitch with a seam allowance, backstitch, change machine settings, and troubleshoot with local artist, Madelyn Archibald. Her sewing journey is inspirational and will get you on your way!

This class is ideal for those of you who are ready to begin your dive into the magical world of machine sewing but because it can be daunting, you just haven't jumped in yet! Once you take this class and get hands on experience, you'll be ready to move on to our Learn to Sew Club where you will build new skills and confidence each session.

Our goal with these classes is to help you work up to projects such as bag making, quilting, or garment sewing, that maybe have you a little intimidated right now.

Enroll in just one session to try it out, or register for multiple sessions and use the code SEWCLUB to get a 15% discount on class fees.
Each session is open to complete beginners, as well as students with some sewing machine experience.

This class is open to students age 14+.
