In this class, students will learn the basics of quilt piecing using foundation paper to sew complex angles. Students will learn tips and tricks to build their skills in foundation paper piecing to achieve perfect points and shapes for any pattern they encounter! We will use a freely sourced pattern in the class to make one block using scraps.
Students may bring their own scraps or use scraps from the bin in the classroom. The instructor will provide the pattern.
Students should know how to use a sewing machine, ruler, and rotary cutter. Quilt experience is not needed.
