After School Crochet Club
This weekly meet-up is open to students ages 7-13 who know the basics of crochet, and want to practice, learn new skills, and meet other kids who crochet. Led by Sarah Ferguson, in this class students can work on their own projects, or learn new skills from a featured project presented each week.
Pre-requisite: Anyone who has taken Youth Crochet Level 1, or our previous 3-session weekday crochet class is eligible. Students who have not taken our class may attend as long as they are familiar with how to tie a slip knot, chain a row, and stitch a row of single-crochet.
Discount: Use the code CROCHETCLUB if you register for more than one session (or multiple students in 1 session) and receive 15% off the class fee.
Supplies Needed:
- Hooks and yarn will be provided for use in these sessions.
- Students may need to buy a hook if they wish to complete a project at home.
- Students are also welcome to bring their own yarn and hooks!
Class Policies & COVID procedures:
- Masks are no longer required but always welcome! We are happy to provide a mask if needed. If you are feeling ill, please stay home and text the store to let them know.
- This class requires a minimum of 4 students enrolled, with a maximum of 8. Craft Habit will notify students at least 24 hours in advance if a class is canceled due to low enrollment. Students will be fully refunded for any classes canceled due to low enrollment.
- Food and most beverages are not allowed during classes, due to safety concerns. You are welcome to bring water in a container that will not spill if knocked over. On occasion, BYOB is welcome and will be stated in the class registration page.
- Class registrations are not refundable. If you cannot attend, you may find another person to take your place in a class. Please let us know their name in advance of the class starting.
- Classes canceled by Craft Habit WILL be refunded. We will do our best to reschedule classes, and we will refund class registration fees for any classes that we have to cancel for any reason.
- To respect our teachers’ time, please arrive 5 minutes before scheduled class time unless advised otherwise. Late arrivals may miss important information and may not be able to catch up to the class. We cannot issue refunds for late arrivals. Please shop for your class materials in advance!
- Photography: We love to get pics and videos of our instructors and students in class and especially love to capture your projects when finished so that we can brag about you on our social media accounts! If you do not want to be filmed, just tell the staffer who pops in to take pics. We understand!
