Foam Stamping: Mud Cloth Inspired Scarf

In this class, instructor Sekayi Brunson will break down the beautiful, vintage technique of block printing into a simple, fun and creative approach that will inspire you to want to stamp everything!

In the first part of the class, Sekayi will walk you through sketching your design or pattern to use for creating your foam stamps (yours to keep!) You’ll then construct your stamps and test them out a bit with a piece of practice fabric. Then…you’ll stamp away!

This is a color outside the lines class as you allow yourself to tap into your creative side and design your own modern mud cloth inspired scarf. Take it home, iron on medium heat to set the ink, and it’ll be good to go!

Class Policies & COVID procedures:

Masks are required for all people at all times while inside Craft Habit, regardless of age or vaccination status.

This class requires a minimum of 4 students enrolled, with a maximum of 10. Craft Habit will notify students at least 24 hours in advance if a class is cancelled due to low enrollment. Students will be fully refunded for any classes cancelled due to low enrollment.

Food and most beverages are not allowed during classes, due to safety concerns. You are welcome to bring water in a container that will not spill if knocked over. 

Class registrations are not refundable. If you cannot attend, you may find another person to take your place in a class. Please let us know their name in advance of the class starting.
