Have you ever wanted to knit socks for yourself or your loved ones? We’ll be holding a three-part workshop to walk you through every part of making your first pair of socks! The first session will involve going through measuring for a sock, casting on and knitting the cuff and leg. The second session will cover making a heel and the third session will cover knitting a toe and stitching up your last stitches. Students will be expected to do some knitting between classes to complete the sock in the time allowed for the workshop. Please make sure you have availability for all three sessions.
This class is open to students age 14+. Knowledge of casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch and knitting in the round will be required.
