Adult Craft Camp: Winter Edition
Do you love ALL THE CRAFTS? So do we! In our Adult Craft Camp, we try out a plethora of different crafts with a variety of instructors over three days. Along with building skills and making lovely messes, we also make new crafty friends, which can be SO HARD in adult life.
Your registration covers three days of crafting, materials, activities, and instruction.
Each day you'll get a drink ticket good for a beverage from our neighbor Mordecai Beverage Company (or you can swap your drink ticket for a $5 retail credit at Craft Habit any day if you prefer.)- Thursday February 16th, 6:30 - 9:00pm
- Spray Paint Marbling with Elizabeth - learn an awesome technique for marble painting 3D objects. We will provide a mason jar for marbling, and you can bring an object to paint as well.
- Lotion Making with Kelly - yeah, make your own lotion!
- Friday February 17th, 6:30 - 9:00pm
- Punch Needle and Rug Tufting with Kassandra - get a quick introduction to using a punch needle tool to make textile art, then try out the "on steroids" version of a punch needle tool - the electric tufting gun!
- Pen-Pal Books - make a folded paper book for recording your favorite camp memories, and getting contact details for all the crafty new friends you've made :)
- Come early to grab a bite from the Friday food truck (tbd), and stay late for hot cocoa (or cocktails) around our fire pit!
- Saturday February 18th, 10:30- 1:30pm
- Felt Plants & Flowers with Sarah - let's make plants and flowers that never wilt or die! We will use sheet felt and a variety of patterns to make an unkillable plant.
