Foam Stamping: Modern Linens

In this class, instructor Sekayi Brunson will break down the beautiful, vintage technique of block printing into a simple, fun and creative approach that will inspire you to want to stamp everything!

In the first part of the class, Sekayi will walk you through sketching your design or pattern to use for creating your foam stamps (yours to keep!) You’ll then construct your stamps and test them out a bit with a piece of practice fabric. Then…you’ll stamp away!

This is a color outside the lines class as you allow yourself to tap into your creative side and design your own modern monochrome accent pillow cover. Take it home, iron on medium heat to set the ink and it’ll be good to go!  For the finishing touches, it is suggested to use a 18x18 insert.  Tea towels are also available on which to stamp if fancy but useful kitchen linens are more your thing!

This class is open to students age 14+ and we encourage students to wear clothing they don't mind getting messy!  Everything is included in the price of the class except the pillow insert.
